The most convenient equipment for body work is a spotter. This is a small device, functionally a bit like a welding machine.
Its main function - the spotter is used to weld a special gun (studder) with a nozzle and pull dents. Welding the spotter on the outside of the part saves a lot of time on disassembly and removal of cladding and door cards, if the straightening was performed in the old way from the inside. This method of welding does not overheat the metal and, therefore, does not deform. The gun can be fitted with nozzles for spot welding, for welding OT washers, for welding studs, a return hammer for triangles, a puller for smooth drawing and others.
Additional devices - combs, exhaust stops of different configurations, return hammers - significantly expand the functionality of the spotter. Therefore, the more devices will be included or purchased separately for the spotter, the easier it will be for the master straightener in the subsequent work.
