Agglomerated natural cork
Suitable for any type of bottles. Usage:
Usage: Before usage the corks should be properly prepared for corking. If this is not done it can lead to damaging the cork as well as the corking device. When used at home soak the cork for 3 minutes in hot water or place under a cover over boiling water. This will make them softer and easier to work with. Remember not to keep them in water for too long as it can damage the cork. After corking the bottles should be kept vertically for about 24 hours for the cork to adjust to the inner side of the bottle. Next, place the bottle horizontally to prevent the cork from drying out. Wine 'washes' the cork which helps to maintain the moisture and to exchange gas between the outside and inside of the bottle. After 3 days check if the corks leak. If there is a leakage, the corks must be replaced.
